Big Big News!!

Well, for me it is. We continue to win more projects, specially in the Oracle HRMS space and I now need to hire 4-6 more mid-to-senior level Functional or Techno-Functional HRMS staff within the next 2-4 weeks. Oh what fun!!

And then, shortly after first of year I need to come up with another Implementation Project Manager, couple of Public Sector FinApps Functional staff, one or two Oracle Apps/Java Developers, an Oracle DBI Functional or TechnoFunctional Specialist and then possibly an experienced 11.5.10 EAM Functional Lead.

So I am on the hunt big time for new candidates and sources.

Just completed an intensive AIRS Internet Recruiting class and hope to become a Certified Internet Recruiter by passing the AIRS certification test. Certification is good for 2 years and will put me with the top of the heap in the IT Staffing World as this certification is (has) becoming the standard by which many companies select new staff (although I have no intention of looking elsewhere at this time). Sometime in the next month I also have to complete/renew a couple of Oracle Champion Certification assessments as well.

I had a nice quiet Christmas and actually turned my mind away from work for 3 whole days!! Well, almost. I just couldn't resist checking my email a couple of times looking for that magical perfect candidate telling me they are waiting for me to hire them.

I was looking forward to doing the same this long weekend over New Year's but alas, I will need to keep the ole staffing engine in high gear most of the weekend.

I am really looking forward to great success in 2006 and I hope that alot of the conflicts throughout the World will cool down before some country does something really crazy and all hell breaks loose.

Snow is sooo Nice

That is until I have to go scrape my car windows and drive through it. This will be our first significant snow (maybe 3 or more inches) this winter but very likely not the last.

Now I see one of the benefits of only working about 12 miles from my home instead of the 33 miles each way when I worked downtown.

This is really turning out to be a very busy end of year. If all goes well, expectations are that we could hire 5-7 or more staff within the next few weeks.

If you know any experienced Oracle Apps candidates who are looking, here are the areas I am recruiting for right now:

***eAP/SC Functional Consultant
***Functional Financials Consultants (with Public Sector background)
***Financials Implementation Project Manager
***CRM Functional staff (OMO, OSO, ASN, Telesales, Lead Management)
***HRMS Consultants (Payroll, OTL, OAB and SSHR)
