Busy-Busy-Busy / Hire-Hire-Hire

I must work for a pretty amazing company as we just seem to keep winning more and more projects. It is almost scary how much business we seem to win which I hope means we are well respected in the Oracle Apps National market.

Still is VERY hard though to find and hire really good experienced Apps Consulting staff. As busy as we are, the IT Contracting business is booming right now in the Oracle Apps space and it seems that if someone is able to move project by project that they can make so much more money contracting than they can as a full-time employee. However, our recent contractor to full-time converts are telling us that the benefits of working for a full service Oracle Apps Consulting firm like AST out weight the extra money they may make as a contractor. I just need to figure out how to market this information and reach more of the experienced Oracle Apps community with this news.

***Oracle HRMS Technical Consultants (Payroll, OAB, Fast Formulas, etc.)
***Oracle CRM/MFG/SC Functional Consultants (Advanced Pricing, Quoting, Costing, Sls/Svc Contracts)
***Oracle HRMS Implementation Project Manager
***Oracle Financials Functional Consultants
***Oracle Apps DBAs & Fusion Middleware Consultants

On a personal note, I have settled into my new home office in Albuquerque very nicely. I have to watch my hours though otherwise it is not difficult for me to find myselt working all hours of the day and night. It is not uncommon for me to be online searching for candidates and sending emails at 11 PM in the night.
